Kinésiologie

This approach is a gentle way of listening to the body’s responses.

Introduction

Kinesiology and its tool, neuromuscular testing, make it possible to become aware of what creates stress or blockages on a mental, emotional, or physical level.
These blockages can prevent us from accessing our natural resources, limit our capacity to recover, and hinder our ability to reach a desired state of well-being and fully enjoy life.

Application

Inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, kinesiology allows connections to be made, awareness to emerge, and appropriate techniques to be used, such as acupuncture points, reflex points, meridian tracing, as well as any other methods specific to the practitioner’s approach.

Tool

Neuromuscular testing consists of applying a light pressure to a muscle, most often the anterior deltoid (with the arm extended forward at approximately 30° from the body).
The response to this pressure indicates to the kinesiologist whether a stress reaction is present or not.

Neuro-Training

This is a complementary approach that I frequently use in kinesiology.

Introduction

Neuro-Training, developed by the Australian Andrew Verity, is an approach within kinesiology in which the brain and our neurological functioning are central to what we experience.

Principle

We are shaped by an accumulation of experiences, including learning processes (past, acquired, or inherited experiences). These experiences are recorded by the brain and used as internal references to guide our behaviors and choices.
The behaviors and decisions that result from these references allow us to cope with life and enjoy it.

Symptom

If you experience a symptom (pain, discomfort, etc.) or an inability to do what you wish (a blockage), it may indicate that one of these internal references is not being met or taken into account.
As a result, it can hold you back from moving forward in life by creating pain or symptoms.

Solution

The aim of Neuro-Training is to replace these limiting references with new neurological references or options.
This can help restore vitality, recover from a situation, and reach a desired state.

Within my therapeutic work, I use Neuro-Training techniques to support the creation of this more supportive neurological option.
